Saddam's atrocities released on video.

The Foundation For the Defense of Democracies have released some disturbing videos of torture and murder carried out by Saddam's Hussein's regime and the fedayeen forces during his reign as President.

WARNING: This material is extremely shocking and graphic in nature. It should not be viewed by children. Also, it may be necessary to turn the volume down before watching the 4 separate chapters.

I also wouldn't suggest anyone with weak stomachs to view these videos. Absolutely shocking.

VIDEOS HERE. (Takes time to download)

Now tell me that getting rid of Saddam was a bad idea!

P.S. I don't want to hear the "Abu Ghraib" comeback, these videos make that place look like two weeks in sunny Cancun.

my stomach is still churning. i had to stop by video 3, before the guys were killed.

it's similar to the reaction i had when i watched one of the beheading videos, although then i almost fainted. i started to see black and red as my eyes were tunneling.

i guess i can't handle that kind of evil well.

I was in university during the First gulf war. I had Iraqis, Kuwaitis and Iranians in my class. We all watched as operation dessert storm freed Kuwait from Saddams grip. The Iraqis were so happy that their counrty was going to be freed too, right. Wrong, the LAME UN decided to stop the war even though millions of people were suffering genocide, torture , multiple human rights violations. The Iraqis were horrified at what would happen after the war, they knew Saddam would lose it on all sorts of groups within Iraq, blaming them for helping the coalition forces, not fighting hard enough, letting him down. They also new Saddam would twist the forces stopping, as a victory, on how HE stood up to the mighty USA. The UN itself is the best source for information on how bad his regime was. I took the time to search and read the hundreds of online UN reports of what was going on in Iraq. Very sick regime. The UN's lame duck answer was pretty much a "sternly worded letter" to a tyrant that was also sponsoring terrorism. It's well documented that he was paying off families of suicide bombers. The country needed to be helped but the UN gave him a carte-blanche OK to keep on keepin on. Very Sad
